Ancestry.com Launches U.S.-Mexico Border Crossings Info

PROVO, UT -- Ancestry.com announced the launch of a new collection, providing access to U.S. - Mexico border crossing documents from 1903 to 1957.

More than 3.5 million records have been added to Ancestry.com's collection of what it claims are more than 100 million immigrant names from 1820 through 1960.  Many of the records include passport photos attached to the original documents.

The timing of the announcement was timed to coincide with Mexican independence day celebrations of Cinco de Mayo.
